Social Work Support

Social workers provide care, advice and support to individuals and whānau with a range of personal or social challenges, such as finances, mental health and parenting difficulties. They can support you to talk about, solve or cope with difficulties in your everyday life and find a way forward.

  • Heather Clay is a registered social worker with the Community Networks/LINK team. She can provide short-term direct support for coping with a variety of issues like parenting, finances, and mental wellbeing; and if needed, connect you with the appropriate longer term resources.

Heather is available for drop-in appointments Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays - at the Wānaka Community Hub or at your home if pre-arranged.

Contact Community Networks/LINK or drop in for more information.
