Support Us

Join us and be a part of making a difference to the social well-being of our Community

Community Networks supports the community and is run by a small team of staff and volunteers. We are funded partially by grants, but also rely on donations from community organisations, businesses, and individuals.

There are many ways you can support Community Networks.

  • Food Donations
  • Financial Donations
  • Volunteering
  • Offering Professional Services such as marketing
  • Holding a fundraising event

To donate, phone the manager Kate Murray on (03) 443 7799 or e-mail at  for the bank details. You can also go online to our ‘Give a Little’ page.

Your donations are very much appreciated and will go a long way towards helping us provide a range of services for our community. Please ensure your contact details are included so that we can provide you with a letter of acknowledgement.

As the Alpine Community Development Trust is a registered charity, you are able to get a tax rebate on your donation.

Where to find us:

To volunteer – Volunteer South Central Lakes and QLDC are working together to match skills offered with help wanted – with the appropriate screening and training. It’s important to volunteer safely. Please complete the form found here:

There are a few different volunteer opportunities at Community Networks such as helping out in the foodbank, being a Meals on Wheels driver, or assisting with the Justice of the Peace service (must be an appointed JP!).

Our Supporters – Thank you

It is only through the generosity of many funders and Trusts, individuals and organisations that the Alpine Community Development Trust is able to continue to undertake its work. We are extremely grateful not only for the financial support but for the invaluable time, expertise and resources that have been so generously donated to help Community Networks become Wanaka’s unique one-stop hub offering social well-being services.

We believe that everyone can do something to help in our communities, and this generosity exemplifies this belief.
