Support Community Networks/LINK

We welcome one-off, regular or in-kind donations.

Demand for our services is rising with the cost of living. We’re currently distributing an average of 100 food parcels a month - twice as many as this time last year.

As government priorities shift and change, we rely increasingly on support from grants and the local community.

Supporting the wellbeing of individuals and whānau strengthens our community. Strong communities that are connected and support each other are more resilient.

There are many ways you can support Community Networks/LINK. Fore more information, please get in touch.

  • Your donations are very much appreciated and will go a long way towards helping us provide a range of services for our community.

Donations of money can be made via our Givealittle page.

Please make contact to discuss the options if you would prefer your donation to be tagged to a specific aspect of our service.

Please ensure your contact details are included so that we can provide you with a letter of acknowledgement.

  • Foodbank donations

Donations to the Foodbank are gratefully received and can be dropped off at the Wānaka Community Hub or in the marked bin at New World Wānaka and New World Three Parks.

In particular, we are always in need of: rice and pasta; pasta sauces; meats (we have a freezer); canned fish; rackers, biscuits and muesli bars; baking goods; toiletries and sanitary items; and breakfast foods.

  • Community Networks/LINK coordinate a number of voluntary services, for which opportunities often arise.

Vacancies will be advertised on our website, social media and on the Volunteer South website.

    These include:

    Foodbank
    Meals on Wheels
    Justices of the Peace
    Family Support Programme

If you are interested in volunteering in some other capacity, for example volunteering your professional skills or services, please get in touch with us.

Thank you for your support!
